Janhvi Kapoor has time and again talked about how much she has learnt from her late mother, Sridevi. The Dhadak actress has earlier talked about the beauty secrets she learnt from her mother. Well, she still continues to take cues from her mother’s legacy. Janhvi was recently spotted with a dupatta that belonged to her mother. A dedicated fan club of hers was quick to realise this and dug out a picture of Sridevi wearing the same dupatta.
Earlier, at the 65th National Film Awards, Janhvi was attending the ceremony, along with dad Boney and sister Khushi, to collect an award posthumously given to Sridevi. There also she wore a saree that belonged to her mother.

Earlier, while talking to Voot, reminiscing her time with her mom, Jahnvi said, “She had all of this secret tips and formulae to maintain good skin and good hair. She’d make our hair oil at home with dried flowers and aamla and she’d make sure that she gives me and Khushi an oil massage every three days. And whatever we’d have left from this we’d put on our face. Like strawberries or whatever fruit. It would go on us.”
In an interview to Hindustan Times, Janhvi disclosed her mom’s advice on choosing roles. She said the emphasis was always on interesting characters. She told the paper, “But you have to create an impact with whatever little you get. If one can leave an impression [in such parts] on audiences and touch their hearts, then there’s nothing like it. That’s what mum [Sridevi] always used to say. She would tell me, ‘it’s never about the kind of role you get, you need to create magic with whatever is given to you’. I hope that I can get to that [stage] one day.” Stay tuned to BL for more updates!
