The latest episode of Karan Johar‘s radio show Calling Karan addressed the topic of romance at workplace, something that is so prevalent in today’s times. “These days an average person spends so much time with people they work with, office romance is inevitable,” reflects KJo. Like all his previous episodes, Karan took the queries of his callers and answered them with utmost sincerity. And this kind of romance is not just restricted to corporate workplaces. It even finds place in the entertainment industry and as KJo puts it, “If dating in the workplace were illegal, then most of Bollywood would be single.”
In our favourite segment, the reverse rapid fire, the callers posed some tough questions to Karan, which he bravely answered. When asked how much he would rate Janhvi and Ishaan if they were to date, his reply was, “They have terrific chemistry. They’re always laughing at jokes that nobody else understands. They complete each other’s sentences and they are amazing on screen. So 10 on 10.” Well, can someone come and tell us that they are dating already? The multi-talented filmmaker didn’t shy away from pointing out his favourite love story, that of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri, and said that their romance that included the courtship period, the wooing, the drama, conflict, confrontation, warrants making a film on it. Speaking to the guest caller Vikramaditya Motwane, Karan voiced his reservations about spouses working together on one project, as he feels it eventually leads to some kind of loss of objectivity.
